Longtime muralist and project visionary, Dan Colcer, will be live painting a new mural of epic proportions honoring the influence of immigrant communities on commercial life and music in Deep Ellum at the gateway to Deep Ellum Blues Alley (at St. Pete's Dancing Marlin, 2730 Commerce Street, corner of Crowdus Street and Clover Street). Deep Ellum Blues Alley is a collection of over 30 murals on Clover Street honoring legendary musicians and the importance of Deep Ellum to the development of Blues, Jazz and music in North Texas.
